More information
The sauna is designed by Italian Luca Donazzolo, a talented architect trained at the University of Venice. Donazzolo specializes in the design and furnishing of wellness, fitness, and beauty facilities, and advocates for energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and buildings made of wood. Natura outdoor sauna is a sauna that softly embraces and appreciates its guests.
It is the perfect place to enjoy a sauna in luxurious surroundings. Both the exterior and interior are charming with the deep brown hues, and the warm colors of the thermo-treated aspen. The large window in the front of the cabin gives a good view of the surrounding nature and integrates nature into the relaxing healing effect of the sauna experience.
The high quality of all parts of the sauna is reflected in the types of wood used, all of which are made more durable by heat treatment. The wood is known for its durability for outdoor use. The walls, and roofs are well insulated, and the roof is built to carry large amounts of snow – a necessary adaptation to Nordic conditions. The modular design allows you to combine sauna, and lounge units in several ways. Limited only by imagination.
The outdoor sauna elements must be placed on a firm surface without contact with soil, and grass. Tiles are suitable as substrates. On stable gravel, or sand, NordKap Living recommends a foundation made of beams.
