Let filters help you keep the water clean

Fights bacteria and algea

There might be traces of algea and microbes among the many particles in the water. It is important to get rid of these, as they can harm both the spa itself and the users in it.

The filters in the spa catches some of the small particles, assisting you in keeping the water clean and hygienic.

Can be cleaned and reused

The filters can be removed and cleaned with Filter Clean. It is done most effectively by letting the filter soak in a mix of Filter Clean and water (see the bottle of the Filter Clean for mixing ratio). After 24 hours you simply rinse the filter and clean it thorougly.

We recommend that you by an extra filter to use in the spa while cleaning the other filter. This way you avoid having to wait for the filter to get cleaned, when you could be enjoying the hot water instead.

When you are no longer able to get the filter completely clean, it is time to replace it with a new one.

Find the right filter for your spa

Not all outdoor spas are the same, and this applies to filters as well. All of our filters are top quality, but it is not given that a specific filter fits your spa.

Therefore, it is important that you measure your current filter to find the correct filter for your spa:

  • The external dimensions of the filter
  • The external dimensions of the thread
  • The internal dimensions of the thread
  • The height of the filter
  • The height of the thread

It might be as little as a few milimeters that decides if a filter is the correct fit for your spa, so take your time and be thorough when measuring!

The filter cannot do it all

Even though the filter in a spa is a strong partner in the fight against dirt and grime, it cannot do it all by itself.

It is important that you regularly measure and adjust the chemical balance of the water. This way, you make sure that you get the most hygienic experience every time you use the spa.

NordKap Living™ has a large selection of chemicals for the water in your spa. You find them right here.
