Product:
Calcium Hypochlorite, unstabilized, easily soluble granules, suitable for daily chlorination of the pool as well as for shock chlorination.
Disinfection of the pool water is ensured by maintaining a chlorine content of 1-3 mg/l and a pH value between 6.8 – 7.2*.
Chlorine content: 70%.
Should not be mixed with other chlorine products.
Instructions for use:
Dosage: At the start of the season or for shock treatments, add 50-80 gr. Chlorine SuperChock per 10,000 liters of water. The swimming pool must not be used in the hours after a shock treatment. For daily dosage, add 30-50 gr. Chlorine SuperChock per 10,000 liters of unstabilized pool water. For stabilized pool water, a daily dosage of 20-30 gr. per 10,000 liters is recommended.
The granules are dissolved by gently stirring in a clean bucket of water. Always fill the bucket with water first! Then slowly add the solution along the pool edge / in front of the inlet nozzles while the pump is running. It is recommended to add Klor SuperChock granules in the evening. The dosage amount is indicative, as the need may change depending on the bathing load, amount of sun, storms, etc.
Please note that Klor SuperChock raises the water's PH value.
Therefore, check and adjust the chlorine and pH levels regularly. The pH value is lowered with Activ Pool PH Down.

*According to the Executive Order on swimming pool facilities etc. and their water quality, Appendix 1, the pH value should be between 6.8 and 7.0. The value must not be below 6.8 and never above 7.6. The water in Denmark is calcareous, and therefore has a relatively high pH value. The use of pH-increasing agents should not be necessary. You can optionally replace some of the water with tap water.
