Application:

PH-minus is intended to lower the pH value of bathing water in indoor and outdoor spas and wilderness baths.

Correct pH value* is necessary for optimal and skin-friendly water care.

Measure the pH of the water. If the value is above 7.4, take a bucket of chlorine water and add pH-minus. Stir until the powder is completely dissolved and pour the liquid into the skimmer or in front of the inlets in the bath.

Important knowledge

Dosage depends on the hardness of the water. The harder the water, the more pH-Minus you need to use.

Recommended amount is 5 gr./m3 (5gr./1000 l.) to lower pH by 0.1.

Never use more than 50g/m3 (50g/1000 l.)

Check the pH value after 3-11 hours.

Good water quality requires regular and careful care. Dose precisely and use compatible products. High water quality is a fine balance between the water parameters and the care products used.

If the pH value is too low, the water is aggressive and corrodes metals more. It is irritating to the skin, mucous membranes and eyes. If the pH value is too high, the water is soapy and the effect of disinfectants in the water is reduced.

*According to the “Execution on swimming pool facilities etc. and their water quality”, Appendix 1, the pH value should be between 7.0 and 7.4. The value must never be below 6.8 and not above 7.6. Water in Denmark is calcareous, and therefore has a relatively high pH value. The use of pH-increasing agents should not be necessary. You can optionally replace some of the water with tap water.

PH-Minus requires care when handling and storing. Use plastic/rubber gloves when handling. Only open in the open air or where there is good ventilation.

PH-Minus: Store safely and out of reach of children. Do not store together with food, etc. Storage temperature 5 – 30°C.

Instructions for use:

Ideal pH value: 7.0 – 7.4.

Here the water is most comfortable for the skin and your disinfectants work most effectively.

• If the pH value is below 7.0, it must be raised with pH-plus.

• If the pH value is above 7.4, it must be lowered with pH-minus.

How to do it:

1. Measure: Check the pH value of the water with a test kit or test strips.

2. Dissolve: Measure out the correct amount of pH-minus. Dissolve the granules in a clean bucket of lukewarm water. Always pour chemicals into the water – never the other way around.

3. Add: Start the circulation pump. Slowly pour the mixture into the water in front of the nozzles.

4. Wait: Let the circulation run for at least 20 minutes after addition.

Dosage:

Add 8 g pH-minus per 1,000 liters of water to lower the pH value by 0.1.

Add a maximum of 32 g pH-minus at a time. > Note: The pH value will typically increase in the first few days after refilling and heating. Never mix directly with other chemicals as this may cause dangerous chemical reactions. Store dry and tightly closed.
