PH-plus

Spa pH UP raises the pH value of bath water in outdoor and indoor spas and wilderness baths.

Instructions for use: Ideal pH value: 7.0 -7.4. Here the bath water is most pleasant and the disinfectants used will work optimally. If the pH value is below 7.0, it must be raised with Activ SPA pH Up. If the value is above 7.4, it must be lowered with Activ SPA pH Down.

The correct adjustment of the pH value of the bath water is very important in a hot tub. Therefore, check the pH value of the water regularly. This is easily done with a test kit or with test strips.

Dosage: pH UP granules can be carefully added directly to the bath water provided that the circulation nozzles are running. Add in front of the nozzles, not in front of the filter. Let the circulation run for 10-20 minutes after addition. Add 8 gr SPA pH UP per 1000 liters to raise the pH value by 0.1. Add a maximum of 25 gr. SPA pH UP at a time.

Please note before adding that the pH value of the water often increases on its own in the first few days after refilling and heating. Never mix with other chemicals, as this can cause dangerous chemical reactions.

*According to the Executive Order on swimming pool facilities etc. and their water quality, Appendix 1, the pH value should be between 6.8 and 7.0. The value must not be below 6.8 and never above 7.6. Water in Denmark is calcareous, and therefore has a relatively high pH value. The use of pH-increasing agents should not be necessary. You can optionally replace some of the water with tap water.

pH-UP requires care when handling and storing. Use plastic/rubber gloves when handling. Only open in the open air or where there is good ventilation.

pH-UP: Store safely and out of reach of children. Do not store together with food, etc. Storage temperature 5 – 30°C.
