Stabilize the water's pH level with Alka Up

In spa baths in particular, the pH value can sometimes be difficult to maintain at a stable level. When refilling and heating the water, the pH value will often increase. However, significant fluctuations in the pH value can also occur afterwards.

This may be due to low alkalinity in the water, which makes it difficult to keep the water properly balanced. Spa Alka Up stabilizes the water's pH level, making it easier to maintain the desired pH balance.

Dosage:

Add 50 gr Spa Alka Up to raise the alkalinity 50 mg/1000 liters of water.

Check the current alkalinity of the water. This can be done with either a test kit or test strips. The ideal level of alkalinity is 80-120 mg/l. Add Spa Alka Up if the measured level is below the ideal level.

Instructions for use:

It is recommended that Spa Alka Up is dissolved in a clean plastic container with water. The solution is poured into the spa water while the circulation pump is running. Let the circulation run for at least 20 minutes after addition. The alkalinity of the water can then be measured again to check if the value is at the ideal level. Also check that the pH level of the water is at the ideal level of 6.8-7.2*.

*According to the Executive Order on swimming pool facilities etc. and their water quality, Appendix 1, the pH value should be between 6.8 and 7.2. The value must not be below 6.8 and never above 7.6. Water in Denmark is calcareous, and therefore has a relatively high pH value. The use of pH-increasing agents should not be necessary. You can optionally replace some of the water with tap water.

Alka-UP requires care when handling and storing. Use plastic/rubber gloves when handling. Only open in the open air or where there is good ventilation.

Alka-UP: Store safely and out of reach of children. Do not store together with food, etc. Storage temperature 5 – 30°C.
