Swimspa – the combination of training and wellness

A swim spa is the ultimate solution for those who want to combine exercise and relaxation in one luxurious installation. Thanks to powerful counter-current jets or turbines, you can swim continuously without turning, making the swim spa ideal for both exercise, play and well-being. At the same time, it functions as a traditional spa, where you can enjoy warm water, massage and peace of mind.

Many models are equipped with modern technology such as Balboa control, energy-efficient solutions and the option of a saltwater system. This means that you get a swim spa that is both functional, sustainable and easy to maintain.

Why choose a swim spa?

Unlike traditional swimming pools and hot tubs, a swim spa gives you the best of both worlds – without requiring a lot of space. You get a compact design that accommodates both swimming and relaxation. The counter-current jets allow for effective swimming training, while integrated massage jets create a true spa experience.

Thanks to heavy insulation and energy-efficient components, the swim spa can be used year-round, and with features like automatic filters, maintenance is minimal.

In short: A swim spa is a flexible solution for the whole family – regardless of whether the focus is on training, relaxation or both.

Different types of swim spas

At Nordkap Living you will find a wide selection of swim spa models that match different needs and desires. Some models have a separate spa section, so you can switch between swimming and relaxation. Others are designed for pure training with powerful counter-current jets or turbines that create a constant and smooth current.

If you are primarily looking for peace and wellness, there are also swim spas with lower water pressure and wider pools that provide a more relaxing experience. LED lighting creates ambiance – perfect for late evening hours – and rapid heating makes it possible to use the spa all year round.

The choice depends on whether you want to focus on exercise, wellness or a combination of both.

Technology and features

It's the technology that makes the swim spa special. Countercurrent jets and turbine systems enable continuous swimming in place – either with a strong current or a more even and natural water movement. Balboa controls allow you to easily adjust temperature and functions, while stainless steel parts ensure a long life and minimal risk of corrosion.

If you want to avoid chlorine and at the same time get softer, more skin-friendly water, a salt water system can be purchased.

Water quality

An effective swim spa requires clean and clear water quality. That's why most models are equipped with advanced filters that remove dirt and bacteria. Automatic water circulation keeps the water in constant motion, and if you purchase a saltwater system, the need for chemicals is reduced - benefiting both the environment and your skin.

Insulation and energy saving

Modern swim spas are designed with a focus on low energy consumption. Heavy insulation and a solid cover help retain heat, while energy-efficient pumps and 400V connection ensure fast and stable heating. This makes it possible to use the spa all year round without worrying about high operating costs.

Maintenance

With proper care, a swim spa will last for many years. It only requires a few but important routines: clean the filters regularly, check the pH level of the water, and always use an insulating cover when the spa is not in use. Also, make sure the controls are working properly to avoid unnecessary problems.
