Dead Sea Bromide is 99% pure sodium bromide (NaBr) and comes from Beersheba, Israel on the Dead Sea. This natural salt is added to your swimming pool or hot tub in order for your bromine generator to work. When sodium bromide comes into contact with the electrode, it is converted from sodium bromide (salt) to low levels of pure free bromine through electrolysis.
