Prerequisites for installation
General requirements
– The spa must be delivered with a bypass system installed and possibly a replaced circulation pump.
– The spa must be set up and connected before installation.
– The heat pump must be purchased and delivered to the address.
– The installation price does not include delivery, construction work or power supply.
– There must be sufficient space for installation and a prepared area for placing the heat pump.
– Access to the fuse panel must be possible.
Electrical installation (must be carried out by an authorised electrician)
– A 230V power supply with earth must be connected to the installation site.
– Depending on the heat pump model, there must be either an outdoor socket or a suitable mounting box.
– The connection must be protected against splashing water.
Distance restrictions
– Balboa circulation pump: The heat pump may be installed a maximum of 2 meters from the spa.
– Gecko circulation pump: The heat pump can be installed up to 5 meters from the spa.
If the heat pump is to be placed further away, the spa's circulation pump must be replaced with a 1 HP Gecko circulation pump.
ℹ️ Note: The above applies to Nordkap Living's outdoor spa. Other products may have different pump capacities and require special installations.

Installation of heat pumps not purchased from Nordkap Living:
We recommend using our own products, as our installers know them best.
If you wish to install another heat pump, this will be done at an hourly rate + travel fee for each time the installer comes. Multiple visits may be required depending on the complexity of the task.
