Controlled addition of chlorine

With this chlorine dispenser you get better control over the dosage of chlorine. At the same time, the chlorine tablet does not come into contact with the tub, so you avoid discoloration of the tub.

With the chlorine dispenser, you get increased safety, as children and adults cannot get to the chlorine now that it is not in the bath.

If you rent out your house with a spa, a chlorine dispenser is also an advantage, because then only rental centers have to deal with chlorine refilling.

The dispenser is installed in the water circuit, where the water is returned to the tub from the heating element.

Place a maximum of 2 20 gram slow-dissolving chlorine tablets in the dispenser and fill with water.

Never mix chemicals. There is a risk of strong chemical reactions that can cause explosions and fires.

The use of open flames near the chlorine dispenser is not permitted. Avoid inhaling fumes that may rise from the open dispenser. Wear goggles or a face shield.

When the circulation pump is running, chlorine is added to the water. The amount of chlorine added is regulated using a rotary knob.

The amount of chlorine to be added depends on the use of the spa and on temperature and light effects. The chlorine dispenser is regulated by taking regular measurements until the correct setting is found.

It is important to check the water regularly, even after adjusting the chlorine level.

Only when purchasing a new spa

The price is for the purchase of a new spa. The module can be purchased for older spas, but must be installed by an experienced installer and an outdoor service package must be added to the price. Call for a quote.

Use:

Before using the chlorine dispenser, you must balance your spa water. Measure with test strips for a few days in a row to see if the pH value is at the desired value (between 6.8 and 7.2). Use chlorine or pH-minus to achieve balance. While doing this, the chlorine dispenser button must be in the “Off” position.

Put a maximum of 2 slow-dissolving chlorine tablets in the dispenser and fill with water.

When the water is balanced, turn the knob to the middle (3) and after a day measure whether too much or too little chlorine has been added. Repeat this until enough chlorine is added to maintain balance for several days.

The amount of chlorine to add depends on how much the spa is used and how much additional water is added over a period of time, so measurements are still important.

When the Chlorine Dispenser needs to be filled, it must first be closed (Off). Never open the dispenser while it is in operation.

Turn off the circulation pump and close the valves.

While filling, avoid any fumes from the container. Protect your face from any splashes.

After filling, return the knob to its previous position. Remember to open the valves and start the circulation pump again. Take a control measurement the day after filling.
