Service hatch with key access

The side cladding of the spa has an integrated service hatch made of the same material as the rest of the cladding. The service hatch is locked with a key so that guests do not have access to the spa's technical functions.

The service hatch provides easy access for servicing the automatic water filling, chlorine dispenser and drain valve.

Automatic water filling

The automatic water filling ensures that the spa always has the correct water level. When changing the water, the spa is filled automatically, so there is no need to keep an eye on the filling. When the spa has reached the correct water level, heating starts automatically.

During daily use, the system also ensures that the optimal water level is maintained by automatically adding water as needed.

The water filling is activated via a pneumatic button on the side of the spa. Depending on the selected service agreement, this can be handled by the service staff or by the renter themselves.

The system is positioned so that it is easily accessible for service and maintenance via the locked service hatch in the spa's side panel.

See instructions for automatic water filling here: Download manual for automatic water filling.

Chlorine dispenser

The chlorinator is installed under the spa and located out of reach of guests. It is easily accessible via the locked service hatch, allowing the person responsible for water quality to easily perform checks and maintenance.

When the tenant changes, the dispenser is filled with the desired amount of chlorine, which is then dosed in a controlled manner over the following period. This ensures a stable chlorine supply and reduces the need for guests to handle dosing and maintenance of water quality themselves.

Drain

The spa is equipped with an extra-large diameter drain, which ensures quick and efficient emptying of the water during water changes.

The drain valve is located by the locked service door and is thus easily accessible to the personnel responsible for servicing and maintaining the spa.

Large bottom drain

The spa is equipped with a large bottom drain, which ensures quick and efficient emptying during water changes. The location at the bottom makes it possible to get the majority of the water out of the tub, thus reducing the time spent on emptying and servicing.

After draining, a small amount of water may still remain around the seats. This amount is minimal in relation to the total water volume of the spa and therefore has no significant impact when changing the water.

Locked control panel

Upon delivery, the spa's control panel is locked so that guests cannot change the technical settings. Guests still have access to the common usage functions such as massage, temperature control and lighting.

The lock function can be removed as needed. The spa manual will show you how to unlock the control panel if you wish to do so at a later time.

Constant circulation

To ensure efficient and continuous filtration, the spa's circulation pump is set to run 24/7. This is especially relevant for rentals where frequent use can put a greater strain on water quality.

The spa is equipped with a circulation pump from Canadian Gecko, which is developed for continuous operation and has a high level of operational reliability and long service life.

At the same time, the pump is quiet and has low power consumption, making it suitable for constant operation.

Frost protection

The spa's Balboa control has a built-in frost protection that protects the spa and its technical components from freezing. As long as there is water and power to the spa, the system ensures that a minimum temperature of approximately 12 °C is maintained.

The frost protection works in conjunction with the spa's technical insulation. The heat from the electrical components helps to keep the cavity behind the side cladding warm, thereby protecting the piping and other components from frost. Read more about the spa's insulation [here/link].

The advantage of the built-in frost protection is that it is part of the spa's existing control and is therefore already active during normal operation.

Alternatively, a separate, thermostatically controlled heating unit can be used. This solution makes it possible to frost-proof the spa's technology without water in the tub, but requires a separate unit that is only activated when the temperature makes it necessary.

Additional heater

With an additional heater, the spa's heating time can be significantly reduced. Depending on the amount of water in the tub, the heating time can typically be reduced from approximately 12–14 hours to approximately 6–7 hours.

The solution is particularly suitable for rental spas, where quick set-up between tenant changes can be an advantage. The shorter warm-up time allows new guests to use the spa more quickly, and in many cases the same day they arrive.

This provides greater flexibility in operations and at the same time contributes to a good experience for guests.

Additional filters

We recommend purchasing an extra set of filters for your spa. This way, you always have a clean and dry set ready for use while the other filters are cleaned and maintained by the service staff.

Extra filters are an optional purchase and are not included in the package. The same applies to recommended accessories such as cover holders and stairs.

Assembly

The stated price applies to installation at our workshop in connection with the preparation of a new outdoor spa.

If you want expansion package 2 retrofitted into an existing spa, the cost of installation time will be added. Contact us at 70 27 27 23 for a specific offer.
