An extra 3 kW heater halves the time it takes to heat the water in the spa. Power consumption is the same.
Effect: 3 kW
Voltage: 220-240V
Electricity Power: 12,5A
Fuse: 16A
Dimension: L: 50 x W 12 x H: 27 cm.
Requires an extra phase.
Use of heat pump
A more advantageous heat
The spa can be equipped with a connection to an external heat source. This heat source can be in the form of a heat pump, solar heating system, stove or the like. However, you can only use the built-in heater. Obviously, a non-electric heat source reduces the spa’s electricity consumption, while, for example, a heat pump provides more heat in relation to the electricity consumption than a heater. More heat also means faster heating.
Use of heat pump
If you want to save on electricity consumption, you can use an air-water heat pump to heat the water.
Compared to a heater, the heat pump provides more heat per kW of electricity than the heater. The heat pump can be used for easy heating of the outdoor spa, while the built-in heater in the hot tub helps to fine-tune the heat level when using the hot tub.
