Wood

The barrel sauna made of heat-treated spruce wood absorbs less moisture and is therefore more dimensionally stable and more resistant to fungal attack. 

The wood used in the barrel sauna for 4 people has a thickness:

• The front wall 42 mm  
• The back wall 28 mm

We recommend using a sauna heater of 9 kW or higher (not included).

Heat-treated spruce wood for the barrel sauna absorbs less humidity and therefore  more dimensionally stable and more resistant to fungal attack.
